From 28 August 2026, football fans can bid on a special offer on the Ricardo online marketplace: a shirt personally signed by Granit Xhaka. The highest bidder will receive the shirt in person from Swiss national team coach Murat Yakin. All proceeds from the auction will go to the Murat Yakin & Friends Children and Youth Foundation, which supports children and young people and helps create new opportunities for them.
As part of the #RicardoForGood initiative, an exclusive charity auction will launch on Ricardo on Friday, 28 August 2026. Up for auction is an exclusive shirt personally signed by Granit Xhaka. But the collector’s item is only part of this special offer: the highest bidder will meet Murat Yakin in person at a meet & greet and receive the shirt directly from the Swiss national team coach.
The charity auction runs until 6 September 2026 at 9.00 pm. All proceeds from the auction will go to the Murat Yakin & Friends Children and Youth Foundation. The foundation supports children and young people through projects that create opportunities and help them develop and thrive.
Murat Yakin will personally present the Xhaka shirt on Thursday, 10 September 2026 at the Grand Casino Basel during the Swiss Indoors Basel Business Club Lunch. This turns an exclusive piece of football memorabilia into a memorable personal experience in a unique setting.
